Mike is very approachable, patient, encouraging individuals of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, to become the best player they can be. My overall fitness has improved significantly and together with a strict diet I have lost 4 stone in weight. Thanks to Mike’s coaching I have found a sport I really enjoy playing and still continue to improve in!

Walking Tennis has been designed to be accessible for all. It’s still tennis – but with a few tweaks:
You can let the ball bounce twice for extra time.
You can play on a smaller court and use modified equipment.
Players can’t run or jump.
Walking tennis is a great way of keeping fit whilst going at your own pace.
Learn a new skill, whilst having lots of fun and laughter with other beginner walking tennis players.
Tennis Xpress teaches the foundations of the game so that by the end of the six week course you will be able to enjoy fun matches with friends, family or other people that you meet.
You will be taught new skills and shown how to serve, rally and score. By using a variety of ball types and court sizes the game will be made easy and fun, enabling you to gain confidence and enjoy mastering the basics.
