Mike Herd Tennis will provide fun and expert tennis coaching, competitions and events at Hawarden Community Tennis Club. Furthermore, these will be suitable for all ages and abilities!

There are 4 tennis courts which are based at Gladstone playing fields in a central location close to Hawarden High School.  The tennis courts are in good condition and are currently available for free public use.

Our main aim is to inspire people of all ages to get fit, learn to play tennis and have a positive focus in their community. Keep an eye out for our open days which will be free to attend to sample everything that tennis has to offer.

There will be junior and adult tennis coaching and also fitness and disability sessions. These will run mid week and on a Saturday. The aim will be to keep these sessions running all year round. There is scope to keep sessions running throughout winter with indoor provision.

Mike Herd Tennis will offer bespoke private individual and group packages for any level of player. These can fast track your game and take you to another level. HD video analysis is available to track improvements.

There will be six week tennis courses for beginner children aged 4-11. Children will receive a free racket, personalised t shirt and a set of tennis balls. All for just £25! These courses will be running throughout the year to inspire your child.

There will be lots of informal team competitions and friendlies against other local clubs. As a result there will be additional opportunities to compete in fun competitive tournaments and leagues.
